Summer at Daylesford - Cotswolds
This summer, I finally made it to the beautiful Daylesford farm in the Cotswolds. I have been following the company for years (a certified B Corp) as well as many of its associated properties and restaurants. I absolutely love the world of hospitality - and Daylesford is the picturesque ideal in that realm.
With its incredible design, custom products, restaurants, cafes, lodging, and organic produce, it truly is a trailblazer in the world of farm chic.
Daylesford has a charming shop, market, coffee trailer, greenhouse, and several restaurants. Their summer collection was botanical and fresh - it made me ready to throw a summer picnic.
The hardest part, is that Daylesford doesn't ship to the USA! I took a few small goods home with me - but at some point, I need one of their incredible hampers. I've fallen in love with their rose candle, geranium diffuser, and I did bring home the loveliest blue and white wildflower napkins (a gift) - illustrated by artist Hugo Guinness.
They also have a brand new book, Daylesford Living: Inspired By Nature, that's a lovely introduction to the company and its style.
Before visiting Daylesford, I stopped by The Wild Rabbit, a delicious pub in the Cotswolds where I had my first vegetarian Sunday roast. It was absolute perfection.
I can't wait until my next visit and until then - will be dreaming about all of the candles and tablecloths that I couldn't fit in my suitcase.
