East Hampton Historical Society Annual Antiques & Design Show Benefit

It was my second time to attend the East Hampton Antiques & Design Show at Mulford Farm benefiting the East Hampton Historical Society. This year marked the 18th annual event and the Friday night preview cocktail party is my new favorite party of the summer.
I loved these gorgeous blooms from gardener & floral designer Caleb Kane at the Ann Parke Collection booth

I was introduced to a mix of new vendors while seeing old favorites again - including Gray Antiques. Gray Antiques has the most incredible mix of finds when it comes to decorative items, furniture, garden antiques, and more. I fell in love with this set of chairs this year.
There's such a lovely mix of everything at this show - from rugs, to vintage textiles, jewelry, art, furniture, accessories, antique maps, and so much more.
For many years, while living in Texas, I attended the Round Top Antique show.
Though it's not possible to truly compare the two shows, I do feel this is a perfectly edited Round Top, but was somehow more interesting to me (a lot of the East Hampton Antique & Design Show vendors actually don't attend Round Top - which could be why).
This antique embroidered screen from Ann Parke Collection was just stunning
I always have the best time perusing antique jewelry and vintage accessories from Greenwald Antiques. I bought a scarf from them last year and they have such an amazing collection.
I loved seeing all of the ceramics from Malta Gualda Artifacts and was captivated by all of the colorful textiles from Indian Pink Girl
I did learn one hard lesson this year.
On my way out of the cocktail party, I fell in love with an antique buffet table on Friday evening (just when the cocktail party was ending). I took down the measurements and told the vendor I'd let him know before the show opened the next day if I wanted the piece as I was trying to be responsible.. and measure!
Well, of course - someone came right after me and bought the piece on the spot.

Moral of the story: don't ever measure?
